“I transferred to NYU Law and recruited as a 3L to move to Paul, Weiss. Without Brad, I would not have transferred, and I would not be in Big Law.”
—A. (NYU School of Law)
Tests have never been my strong suit, and I knew law school would be a completely different beast. I knew from the start that I wanted to transfer, so I needed a tutor who would be invested in me and could help me get to a T14. Brad is your guy. He knows every subject deeply and actually teaches you the concepts, connecting doctrines across cases and explaining why the law is the way it is. Professors tend to teach isolated cases and broad principles, but Brad shows you how the doctrines fit together and what they mean in practice, and he’ll keep re-explaining until it genuinely clicks. The most important part of working with him on 1L courses is that he teaches you how to write law school exams: spotting every issue in a fact pattern, applying the law, and explaining nuance. Knowing the law is great, but knowing how to write exams for any class is a skill, and it's the difference between a B+ and an A. Because of Brad, I finished above median in the fall of 1L at my T30 school and secured a 2L Big Law internship in New York with those grades. I kept working with him in the spring and did even better. I transferred to NYU Law and recruited as a 3L to move to Paul, Weiss. Without Brad, I would not have transferred, and I would not be in Big Law.
Brad also helped me with my personal statements for law school applications, and later, for transferring. He is a genuinely excellent editor who knows how to shape a story that is honest, memorable, and strategic. If you want a tutor who teaches you how to think and write like a lawyer rather than just handing you the answers, you’ll want to work with Brad. I can’t recommend him enough!
